Research on Treatment of Coal Tar Processing Wastewater by SH-A Method

The research studied the treatment of coal tar processing wastewater by the SH-A energysaving method of enhanced biological nitrogen and carbon removal.The operation conditions and treatment result at various sections were discussed in detail.After the treatment,removal rates of COD_Cr,NH₃-N and mineral oil could reach about 98%,of chrominance and phenol could reach 99%,of cyanide could reach 95%.All the indexes of the wastewater could meet the first grade of national sewage effluent discharge standards(GB8978-1996).
